This old lunch box is probably from the 1930s or 1940s & it has given a long hard period of service. It is dented in several places & shows obvious signs of wear, but the clasps open & close properly, the lid opens & closes securely, the handle is intact, & the inside is crisp & clean. There are no manufacturer's marks, & a 5-pointed star is embossed on each end, & there are embossed label card areas for name plates on each end. Some superficial rust, some worn paint, some scratches, & all of these are signs of a life well lived. The lunch box measures about 8 7/8" long by 4 1/2" wide by 7" high.
