A charming cotton dress from the Romantic Era, early 1800s. The bodice has a slight point at the center front waist & front button metal closure, to which is gathered a full cotton skirt - equal fullness at the waist & the hem. The sleeves have a short cap, followed by shirring & gathering of a wide sleeve. The width of the sleeve continues below the elbow, & finally tapering to the wrist. Alicia is wearing an extra full crinoline, boots, jewelry, & gloves & they are priced separately. Designed & made proudly in the USA by Recollections.
