Denmark Premium first class Exquisite, high end & very elegant vintage premium class Royal Copenhagen Dagmar collection. Pale green & gold. Dagmar pattern was designed by Thorkild Olsen in 1933. He worked for more than 50 years at Royal Copenhagen. Dagmar has a quiet elegance in form perfectly complimented by the pale sage green & gold layered embellishment on the trim. The wide gold band is embellished with a fine & delicate stylised botanicals & royal crown motives. It is truly an upscale & aristocratic classic from the 1930s & produced until 1970s Limited quantities exist due to its expensive price tag. Only the upper echelon of society could afford it.
