This listing is for a set of Yacht Rope Reins, Choose either Loop, or Split reins! I am calling these my "Extreme Trail" Reins, as I am using special brass conway buckles & brass snaps .. commonly called boat snaps!. The boat snaps have a little more space to hook onto leather, rope halters, lunging cavesons & bits. The conway buckles are extra deep, making the connection extra secure & lends a lower profile for a finished look. Choose your length from the drop down menu! 7, 8, 9', 10, or 12' loop reins, or 6, 7 or 8' split reins. The first ropes listed are 1/2" diameter, that last ones are 9/16" diameter. The rein consists of round, 1/2" or a little heavier/thicker 9/16", double braided round POLYESTER marine yacht rope .. for the loop reins, the brass snaps on each end make it easy to change bits or bridles, or lead your horse down a difficult trail! The snaps are not spliced in, making it possible to replace if needed! The split reins have brown latigo leather poppers on the tail ends. Double braided polyester yacht braid is the premium yacht rope desired by the best trainers.. it is soft, abrasion & uv resistant, has a great lively heavier feel. Choose from several colors! Newest colors are Turquoise Camo 9/16" & turquoise/maroon zig zag! DB Polyester is the heaviest of the yacht ropes, giving your horse immediate reward when released from pressure, one of the primary concepts for successful horse training. Suggested uses for loop reins are 7' -8' are for small horses/ ponies, barrel racing & gaming. 9-10' are for standard size horses, trail, roping & training. 10' - 12' is suggested to larger horses for trail & training ..
