Slininger Funeral Home, Jefferson, Iowa Vintage, Antique Advertising Thermometer & Plate. The 1969 plate 7" wide says Slininger Funeral Home, Jefferson, Iowa 1919-1969. The back says Crest-O-Gold, Made in the USA. This is Crest-O-Golds 22K Gold plate. The thermometer is from the 1940's when the funeral home gave them away to the residents of Greene County, Iowa for advertising. It still works & the frame shows age, but is fully in tact. It says Slininger Funeral Home, Jefferson, Iowa. Rare finds from Jefferson, Iowa. My guess is these are few & far between.
