Description
This fabric is 36 inches wide & is sold by the yard. It was hand woven in the highlands of Guatemala. It is 100% cotton. It weighs approximately 10.3 ounces per yard. It would make an excellent ring sling or baby wrap. I work for the new weaver on this fabric. I took him a couple of samples of vintage clothand we collaborated to get the pattern & the color right. I think it turned out just great. It is about the weight of canvas, but so much more softer & supple. It is gorgeous. The art of weaving is handed down through the generations in the Mayan villages. It is truly an art.
