Elizabeth Taylor collaborated with Avon Products Inc. USA on a collection of fashion jewelry signed & designed by her & carrying her name. The initial costume jewelry lines would consist of five collections with prices starting at $40 & the lines sold directly to the consumer via Avon representatives nationwide going door to door or scheduling house parties using the company's direct-mail catalogue. The jewelry is increasingly difficult to find! This necklace features a chunky gold tone chain overlaid with 18k gold & a large centre faux opal with round red cabochons on the side bar & the clasp is a toggle bar fastener. The necklace has the Elizabeth Taylor script signature 'E' mark. Necklace remains in wonderful condition & will remain eternally stylish.
