'North Island Robin' is an original, limited edition artwork by artist, Amy West. I spotted this curious little bird foraging on the forest floor at the 'Zealandia' wildlife sanctuary in New Zealand. He stopped just long enough for me to snap a photo, which is the inspiration for this print. This friendly chap is made from layering three separately carved lino blocks to create one artwork. The lino blocks are hand-printed on luxurious 250gsm Stonehenge paper, using oiled-based Cranfield Caligo ink. Each artwork includes a title, limited edition number & signature of the artist in pencil. The paper size of this artwork measures approximately 20.5 x 25.5cm (8 x 10in), with the printed area being 11 x 15.5cm (w x h). As each artwork has four hand-torn deckle edges, the size of the paper can vary slightly. Limited edition of 150. Please note that due to their handmade nature, there may be minor differences between artworks. This is part of the charm of printmaking & makes every artwork unique. The colours you see on screen may also look slightly different in real life. The artwork is sold unmounted & unframed so that you can choose how best to display it.
