This door hanger is painted black on the back for that finished look. While each door hanger is sealed to help protect from the weather, we recommend keeping it out of direct rain & sun. This will keep your hanger beautiful & help it to last for years to come. Hanging under a covered porch, patio or awning is recommended. Each piece is hand painted making it uniquely different.
