But it was was the first time I had seen the water with such deep colors of turquoise, aqua, & blue. The blues of Tahoe gives me the same longing I feel when I see those colors in the Caribbean Sea. I'm not sure why the colors were so intense this time. Maybe it was the time of year. Maybe it was because the sun was high, & the sky was cloudless. But regardless, I have seen a lot of lakes in these great United States, but few have the power over me that Tahoe does.
