This beautiful vintage platter was made by the TAYLOR, SMITH, & TAYLOR COMPANY (TS&T) of Chester, West Virginia USA. The TAYLOR, SMITH, & TAYLOR pottery was in business from 1900-1981, therefore, there is no way to tell when this was made. Based on the colors used & the style, I would say it was definitely from the first half of the 20th century. My best guess would be somewhere between 1920 & 1940. This platter has two tab handles. It is decorated in the center with a pink rose with green leaves & stem against a white background, & framed with a band of dark emerald green. This pattern is numbered TST15 with pattern code TSTTST15 at replacements. com. The item number stamped on the back is 10523. This pattern was discontinued long ago. This platter measures 8-1/2" x 12". This platter is in good, pre-owned condition with some scratches to the finish.
