The deposits of opal in Ethiopia have produced some truly spectacular stones over the past decade. My favorite thing about these deposits is how unique each stone is. Fire, patterning & body color all vary quite a bit, giving each stone its own personality. This stone shows a transparent amber-colored base with rolling flakes of green fire.
