Here is an antique Thanksgiving postcard that pictures an American Bald Eagle tackling a turkey. The card says "Thanksgiving Greetings" at the top. The lightly embossed card was printed in Saxony. It has a rather shiny surface. It was postmarked in Boston, Massachusetts in 1909. It was sent to Maude Blanchard in Canaan, New Hampshire. The postcard has very little postmark ink on the front. It has two scuffs on the shiny surface. It has minor corner wear. It looks there was a paper clip attached at the top center which made a rip there. All of our postcards are the standard size measuring about 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (8.89 cm x 13.97 cm). Some may be just a fraction larger or smaller.
