"Chapel Bridge" Lucerne Switzerland Prints of original watercolor This is a watercolor of Lucerne Switzerland from a photo I took in 2007 which features the Kapellbrücke, or "Chapel Bridge". The bridge dates back to the 1300's, & was named after the St. Peter's Chapel on the other side of the river. in 1993 the bridge was almost completely destroyed by a fire. It has since been restored to almost original design. The bridge also housed many works of art, triangular in shape, that hung from the ceiling. They depicted scenes from history. From the 147 paintings that had hung from the ceiling, only 47 survived the fire, & an additional 30 were successfully restored. ⭐ 8x10 Prints are sized for the inside dimension of a standard 11x14 mat for easy framing. ✸ Frame & Mat are Not included They are shown for suggested mounting only. ✸ Some Details may show proportions different from the size of this print. ⭐ Actual image size is the inside mat dimension is approximately (9.5x7.5) with a white edge around it for a total size of 8 1/2 x 11.
