This hand carved & painted wooden figure of a woman from Senegal, West Africa, wearing a blue printed dress similar to a Kente or Ewe style wrap, she has a wonderful elaborate coiffure, hair style. She stands approximately 4" inches tall with a square painted black 1.5" inch base, this has a slit or slice in front of the figure possibly to insert a business card or message.
