Addy's Work Dress & Apron ~ Retired Addy's Work Shoes ~ Retired First Year of Release Authentic American Girl / Pleasant Company Addy always took special care to keep her good clothes neat & tidy for school & for church on Sunday. So when it was time to help with cleaning & laundry, she changed to a pale blue dress of cotton chambray that was practical for household chores. Over it she wore a crisp plaid apron with a little pocket for carrying 3 clothes pins. Lace up Addy's sturdy black shoes when she's ready to tackle her after-school chores. Addy's Work Dress & Apron was introduced to Addy's Collection in 1995 & retired in 2007. It was not seen in the series before the re-illustration of Addy Saves The Day; it is also seen in Addy's Summer Place. Addy's Work Shoes were also introduced to Addy's Collection in 1995 & are generally shown with Addy's Work Dress & Apron. Dress: Blue cotton calf-length dress with four white buttons on the front & long straight sleeves that are rolled once at the wrist. Velcros up the back. 1994 Pleasant Company tag. Apron: Green plaid high waisted sleeveless apron with a pocket on the left side; shorter than the dress at about knee length. Velcros up the back. 1994 Pleasant Company tag. Clothespins: Three small wooden springless clothespins. Still in original package. Pleasant Company sticker. Shoes: Low black shoes with tie laces in the front.
