Looking to give your home that cool Mid-Century LA look, but you don't have the budget for the upscale decor store? Well, now you can with our adaptation of a mid-century LA that captured that moment as the city was expanding along with its streets & highway system. You can feel yourself being transported back to 1940s & 1950s LA with its raw excitement & convertibles rolling down the highway with the wind blowing your hair! We scanned our copy of the map & then cleaned it up for the black&white, inverted blue, & inverted black versions. We also offer a vintage version which hews closely to the original map. We offer you more variety for this reprint than other stores! (This map pairs nicely with our series of mid-century NYC/Manhattan maps.) We have six sizes: 16x20" 20x24" 22x28" 24x30" 30x36" 36x45" The smaller sizes are ideal for when your wall space is at a premium & you need an easier-to-find frame. While the 36x45" does require a custom frame, it brings a dramatic impact to your room's look. The preview photos are based on 5:6 ratio sizes (20x24, 30x36, etc). However, we strongly recommend measuring your intended wall first, due to the cost of the fine art paper & amount of the ink involved we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for the wrong size or color chosen. (We do, however, offer refunds & exchanges for post office damage. Please see our shop policies for more details.) As we mentioned above, this map reprint was restored from a high-resolution scan. We own a copy of the Los Angeles County map, which is extremely hard to find in really good shape. It took us over a year to find a copy of the map in decent shape. We aren't able to offer framed/matted prints, but we recommend checking your local art/craft supply store and/or the following websites: www.craigframes.com, arttoframe.com, or framebridge.com. Craig Frames also has an Etsy storefront! Check them out. We print on Aurora Fine Art with archival inks. The paper has a nice, slight watercolor paper texture feel to it. Your print comes in a heavy-duty mailing tube via USPS priority mail, so you won't have to wait long.
