CAN ONLY BE ADDED TO OLDER WELL USED Nickel solutions that are nickel saturated. Finally a NICKEL Plating Solution Rejuvinator / Expander that can ship anywhere! Smooth Mirror bright results everytime! Ships in powdered form just add water & go. Nickel Plating is used to plate copper or brass before it is gold or silver plated. It can also be used as a protective or decorative plating on its own as it is durable & does not tarnish. Nickel Boost is used to expand the volume of a well used nickel plating solutions. When your solution becomes very dark ( almost black) & nickel saturated add nickel boost & water to expand the volume of your solution. Makes 1 liter of solution into a 1.5 liter bath. A small amount ofelectrolyte is required to adjust the PH & easy directions will be supplied with purchase. We Also Recommend Lustro Nickel Boost To Expand the volume of your existing nickel plating solution Whole batch must be made at same time other wise it will not work properly. Directions for nickel plating : Must Be Used heated to between 40-60 C / 100-140F ( hot plate or cup warmer) Current: .05 - .2 A / Square inch / 2.5cm square Air Agitation is Recommended Top Up with Lustro Nickel Bright as needed Adjust PH to between 3.5-4.5 with electrolyte USe pure nickel sheet or nuggets as an anode If being used as a barrier plating under golds or silver NICKEL ACTIVTOR MUST BE USED OR THE PLATING WILL NOT STICK. We recommend a mini anode cage to hold your anode. Do not mix with other brighteners or leveling agents from other suppliers as they may not be compatible. Easy to use & long lasting,nickel plating does not tarnish & is the industry standard often used as a barrier plating between base metals (copper, brass, nickel, etc.) & precious metals such as silver or gold. It can also be used on its own as a durable decorative or protective plating. We do not recommend this to be used for rings or any part of an earring that touches the ear as some people may be sensitive to nickel.
