Whilst we take every precaution to ensure that our chalkboards are weather proofed, timber is still a natural product, & there fore may bend, bow or split, therefore Life expectancy cannot be guaranteed due to the unpredictability of weather conditions & timber reactions. To help prolong the life & the colour vibrancy of your chalkboards we recommend that they are covered during the winter months or stored indoors, this would be recommended to do during the months of November - March whilst your garden is not in use. No chalkboards will be replaced if these care instructions are not followed. all timbers used in the making of our chalkboards is natural & will bear natural makings such as knots, grain patterns & occasionally small ridges, & some of the paints & stains we use will not cover these. There will be no refunds, replacements or exchanges made for these issues. These include but not exclusive too, darker patches in paint work, grain patterns being visible under the paintwork, or visible knots of any kind.
