Vintage Drambuie Crates from the 1960's 2 DIFFERENT SIZES. Dimensions noted below are approximate: Normally we sell them @ $69 each. Here you have an opportunity to buy at a large discounted rate. This listing is for a total 50 crates. Buyer will receive a combination 50 crates in sizes noted below. smallest 1. - 14.5″ L x 13″ W x 10.5″ H 2. - 18.5″ L x 14″ W x 9.5″ H Weight: 7 lbs. These boxes are extremely versatile with many uses. Each box is unique & has a story behind it! All boxes in good condition & show minor wear & tear considering they are over 50yrs old! ORIGIN: United Kingdom: Scotland, Edinburgh DRAMBUIE HISTORY: The crate bears an image of the Drambuie bottle, which reads "The Isle of Skye Liqueur" & "A Link with the 45." There is a crest on the right side of the label with a ribbon that reads "Remember the Gift of the Prince." in 1745 Prince Charles Edward Stuart led an uprising to retake the British throne from the Hanoverian King George II. When the coup failed the Prince had to flee from the Isle of Skye, & legend holds that he gave the recipe of his personal golden elixir to his supporter Captain John MacKinnon, which later became Drambuie. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Crates will ship stretch wrapped on a pallet.
