Description
This cream colored braided silk cord/tulle CHRISTIAN DIOR 1960's vintage turban style pill-box hat. This hat was never worn, but was tried on by me. The inside of the hat looks pristine (photos 9 & 10). It was made in FRANCE & from the 1960's. The hat consists of overlapping braided cord trims, making it look like a turban hat. But it fits & sits like a pill-box hat on the head. Hat is made out silk cord trim, tulle netting with a large open weave & straw. The crown has an open weave mesh top. The inside has a tag with Christian Dior Chapeaux, Paris - New York. Coloring is a cream/vanilla color. Hat is in excellent condition & comes from a smoke/pet-free home.
