This is a beautiful rosewood jewel box with pieced jade detailing. There are four drawers inside the doors & an additional two layer drawer on the bottom. The drawers are padded & lined in red silk. Special compartments for rings. The brass fittings are excellent quality & the box includes its original lock & key & is dovetail construction. There is a bit of lifting on the metal corners, but this does not detract from the appearance. A lovely chest for your treasures.
