The intent of my work is to be used & enjoyed daily by bringing beautiful colors, strong form, & function to people's lives. Each of these bread bakers bears the markings of the artistry of the wood firing process. Areas of high gloss, matte sheen, sometimes a metallic sparkle, small flecks, etc. are all hallmarks of a woodfired piece. That is the beauty of these handmade functional works of art.
