This Agapanthus displays large masses of striking blue flowers atop a tall & slender stalks that emerge from lush clumps of arching bright green, strap-like foliage. Foliage reaches 2 ft. tall, 2 to 3 ft. wide; flower stalks 3 to 4 ft. tall. Agapanthus plants bloom from June through August. African Lilies give you lots of flexibility in garden uses for borders, at pool side, lining a path, or in containers on patio to mix & match with other plants. This variety performs well in coastal areas, as it has a great tolerance to windy, salty sea air. It's a tropical plant, & in northern zones it's great in a container, you can easily bring inside once the weather starts cooling. If you don't cut down the flower stalks in fall, the seed heads provide architectural beauty through winter months. Butterflies & other beneficial pollinators appreciate the blooms, deer aren't likely to visit it. Zones: 7-11 You will receive well rooted, strong & healthy plant in 2.5" pot.
