An original crochet amigurumi Platypus pattern by June Gilbank. Platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) are only found in eastern Australia. They are semi-aquatic monotremes (egg-laying mammals). They live in burrows & hunt for their food (insects & shellfish) along river bottoms.
