Beautiful sky-blue Celestite cluster measuring approximately 3.6 inches by 2.6 inches by 2.1 inches. I made the mistake of looking deeply into these crystals & spent half an hour just drooling & muttering to myself. A neighbor kid had to squirt me with a hose to bring me back. Its name is derived from Latin word Caelestis, meaning "celestial", which was inspired by the crystals' well-known shades of sky blue. This mineral can occur in geodes as crystals, or can also occur as fibers in sedimentary rock, river, streams, & ocean beds. The crystals are also often found growing alongside Gypsum, Anhydrite & Halite. This material is mined at several locations across the globe, but Madagascar currently is the most prominent producer of quality celestite crystals. Associated with celestial beings, Celestite is strongly connected to divine energy & cosmic supernatural forces. As the result, this gem is best used for pursuing spiritual strength.
