Found this really cool thing at a recent estate sale. It is a very embossed Christmas postcard with glitter & gold highlights in what is called The Post Card Handy Holder. It is actually a brown mat with a cardboard backing with wire hooks for hanging. It has glass over the postcard. It originally the whole piece was held together with a sort of binding tape which is off or partly off most of the sides. This is a great piece for embellishing or renewing into a lovely vintage Christmas decoration. Maybe sone decorative tape on the edges to hold it all together, a little glitter on the edges maybe... The old glitter on the card had lost most of its sparkle but the mat & frame have kept the embossed card from squishing over the years.
