The features a clown holding a Wall Street Journal paper. in the left background is a red flier on a brick building "Ringling Bros & Bailey Circus". There is a street pole with the wording "Wall St". This has a wider natural white matte with a narrow red matte. There is a wire across the back. This is numbered 160/250. in the center is the name of this piece "Off To The Circus." On the back is the original certificate of authenticity. Born in Detroit, Michigan on Sept. 25, 1925, George Crionas lived in Michigan before moving to southern California. He died in Canoga Park, California on March 24, 2004. He was a prominent artist, well known for painting clowns. Condition is good. There is one spot, to the left, in the matte area, see our photo. This weights over 13 pounds, without any packing, it will be WELL packed & we will refund shipping overages. Approximate size of frame 32" Width, 42 1/2" Length.
