These beautiful persimmons were picked in the Napa Valley at a friends home that had an orchard full of Fuyu persimmon trees, my favorite type! It was magical to walk in the orchard on a beautiful autumn day under all of the stunning trees with orange fruit & matching fall leaves! I have always loved the form & color of the Fuyu persimmons & can never pass up a chance to draw & paint them & it is even more special when I can choose & pick my own.
