Description

Bizarre & rarely offered predatory cricket from the deserts of Pakistan, Schizodactylus monstrosus presented in a handmade 6.5"x6.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on parchment paper with the scientific name & country of origin printed below. Strange & lovely creature. I am not aware of any other types of crickets that have these curled wing tips. This little beast looks bigger than it is, 2.75 inches across & 3.4 inches from the antennas down to the feet. You will receive the exact same framed specimen shown in the photos. So cool! Curious Kingdom has been lovingly crafting our handmade insect frames for over a decade. We have provided these natural displays for nature enthusiasts, museums, & television & film sets. Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world. All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time & put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM. All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.) Combined shipping for multiple purchases is just $2 extra for each additional bug. Rare Carnivorous Pakistani Desert Cricket Framed Taxidermy - Schizodactylus Monstrosus
