This is an absolutely stunning antique replica Miraculous Medal from France. One of my favorites! This solid bronze medal dangles on a brown 3mm suede lace cord. An antique replica bronze slider bead allows for the length to be adjustable. This larger & most unusual French Miraculous Medal is signed by artists JB & PCH (Jean Balme & Chambault). The design on the front in French is "O Marie concue sans peche priez pour nous qui avons recours a vous" which is "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee". The suede lace cord is an adjustable length up to 26 or 32 inches long. The medal is 1 & 1/8 inch high by 1 inch wide. I am happy to make the suede whatever length is desired. These fine antique replicas are cast in solid bronze using the lost wax method & produced in the U.S.A.
