Authentic Antique mid-19th Century 1860s from the HURET & JUMEAU era... fits Bru, FG & Simonne dolls... it seems to ne made of a gauze wool It is a Day DRESS for Parisienne Porcelain French Lady Fashion Dolls in the style of Haute Couture that these dolls wore. All the embroidery is made by 19th century techniques & has many parts which are hand stitched. It is very elaborate & very excellent condition, this is genuine & made by the Jumeau company... this is not a reproduction or home made.. it dates from the 1860s or 1870s & is all original. It was professional cleaned only once, decades ago. This dress has inside the bodice behind the ornament in the front, you cannot see it from the exterior you need to turn the dress inside out to see it & it has it's original old repair... Other than this minor old small repair it is extremely excellent condition as shown in photos ... This is a genuine JUMEAU creation & has the appropriate closures & is extremely detailed workmanship....priced accordingly to condition, it is a rare dress. These came with a Jumeau doll & her large trousseau of doll clothes & accessories, there were many accessories so we are selling this beautifully constructs & decorated cape.
