We recaptured the same pearl glimmer with a created pearl, & small melee diamonds for a lovely sparkle - while we do usually work mostly with natural pearls this pair needed a created pearl to capture Kate's / Diana's set which has the rarest of pearls. The appear to glow & have an astounding reflection. Metal is Sterling silver 925 posts. Story behind the earrings: Kate has regularly sported the pair of pearl drop earrings during special occasions. The timeless jewels first entered the Royal Family when they were given to Princess Diana as a "sending off" gift before her wedding. The pearl earrings were given to her a month before her wedding day by Collingwood Jewellers, the family jewellers of the Spencer Family, & worn as part of her sending-off outfit.
