TITLE : MONTHS OF THE CALENDAR YEAR - JANUARY THROUGH DECEMBER DESCRIPTION : A set of 12 individual lithographs depicting every month of the year - from the first edition of RS Ball's A Popular Guide to the Heavens - which features dramatic images of Mars, Jupiter & Saturn, maps of the path of solar eclipses & images of comets, along with plates of the Moon, the nebulae in Orion, the cluster in Hercules, the spiral nebula in Canes Venatici, the Ring nebula in Lyra & the Pleiades Cluster, as well as a striking image of the Great Nebula in Andromeda.
