This extra large vintage cut crystal vase is 14" in height with a wide opening, 8.5" mouth, 16 pounds in weight. This large body is a simple tapered modern shaped vessel adorned with multiple patterns of cut crystal designs. Hobstars, Federal Button-Cane, Micro Strawberry cuts, Diamonds, Fan cuts, all arranged in a stunning display, a true example of crystal that we love so much. in very good pre-owned used condition, A solid weighted piece that can vessel large floral arrangements or floral rods that may be needed to prevent top heavy gatherings from tipping. Perfect centerpiece for holiday arrangements or assorted greens, twigs & vines. A superstar of grand crystal decoration, display & function that is desired for large venues & weddings. The design of this vase is very intricate & grand scale. A flat rectified topline is 1/2" thick with cut flat teeth, positioned over cut fans & mini stars, continuing with giant hobstars & elliptical eye shapes, button-cane & micro strawberry cuts within. All in which is repeated over a wide banded collar of ovals & diamonds. A thick glass heavy bottom base. Excellent light reflection, a clean clear crystal cut transparency. Consigned estate, preowned in very good condition, one small nick about 1/16-1/8" to topline of vase as shown in the photo, can only be seen on very close inspection.
