This is a very attractive hand-colored postcard featuring the old Skidmore School of Arts building located at the corner of Circular & Spring Streets in downtown Saratoga Springs NY. The building originally was constructed in the early 1900s to house Skidmore's predecessor institution, the Young Women's Industrial Club which received its charter in 1903. The building eventually was renamed Skidmore Hall. Vintage is 1903-29. It is postally unused & in excellent condition. Comes in a 6 1/4 x 8 1/4 antique-style walnut easel-back frame with 1-color mat.
