Extremely rare beads. Appear black, but are actually a deep grape purple. Similar beads can be found on 19th century sample cards, such as the Levine cards dated to 1851-1863. Strung with antique white Chinese wound glass beads & red French whitehearts, so you can wear it around a bit while working out your own design. Shortest bead (center) is about 28x14mm, the rest vary around 33-35x14mm. Total length of beads is about 40 inches. Condition is very good, with some nicks & ragged ends.
