ATTENTION 12 inch GI Joe fans, 3D Printed 1970's GIjOE Adventure Team Helicopter Rear Wing Thank you for your interest in this item. How many times have we seen an Adventure Team Helicopter suffer from broken or missing rear wing? Well, now there's a limited opportunity to breathe new life into these classic toys. This is not a recast, or scan, but a completely new 3D model created by me, solely for this purpose of providing your vintage AT Helicopter with some cool new accessories. Here's what's included: One ready-to-install Rear Wing 3D printed in Yellow PLA at 0.2mm resolution detail - NEW COLOR is even more accurate to the vintage AT Yellow! 1/6th scale, like the original 3D Replica vs Hasbro's original This is a 12 inch GI Joe scale. Not intended for children under 14 years of age. Simply install on to vintage helicopter tail section. Some minor sanding may be needed from the manufacturing process. Limited Production Due to the 3D printing manufacturing process & the large amount of time involved in production, this initial release will be limited. About 3D Printing 3D prints do have some lines in them as part of the plastic extrusion process. I have tried to minimize this & the kit is ready to assemble right out of the box. If you want, sanding & painting is an option. The plastic used is common in 3D printing, called PLA. & the layer resolution is 0.16mm, or 0.006 inches. or less than 1/64". That less than a sheet of paper thickness! Each part is printed from 3D files that were individually created, edited & produced by me. Who is doing this? I've been a fan of GI-Joe since I was a kid growing up in the early 70's. I've actively collected Joe since the 1990s. I am just a Joe fan producing this for the adult collectors & am in no way affiliated with Hasbro. All logos & imagery associated with GI Joe are properties of Hasbro. This has been a labor of love for me & now, I feel I can share this with other Joe collectors. I've spent the better part of the past 2 years learning as much as I could about 3D printing, & that lead to me to 3D modeling, & finally to this project.
