Description
This is an etched & laser cut skeleton puzzle of a Tyrannosaurus Rex & display stand to rest him on. Although the skeleton is not anatomically correct, it is still a great puzzle for kids & adults to play with. Any fan of the film series will recognize the significance of the Rex Skeleton, being the centerpiece of the JP Visitor Center in the original 1993 film. (Yes I know the centerpiece in the film also has a Sauropod Skeleton. I'm working on it). But the Rex skeleton is also used as the Rex's paddock icon, as well as used throughout the logos for the film & park brand itself. The skeleton stands at 11in tall (Foot to Head), 15in long (Nose to Tail), & 2in wide (hips). The skeleton is a 29 piece puzzle. The packing will include an easy to follow guide to identify the pieces in order to help get you started on how to put it together. The wooden display base is 1.25in tall, 6in long, & 6in wide. The full display with the skeleton assembled will be around 12.25in tall, & weigh around 5.5oz. The display base's top is etched with the JP logo, & the profound & somewhat ironic phrase of "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth", which was seen in banner form across the top of the film's skeletal statue. The base's left & right sides are decorated with images of the InGen logo. The front & back of the stand is decorated with the classic Rex Logo. I designed this product myself, & stained it by hand. It is a great collectible for any fan of the Jurassic Park series, & makes a wonderful accent to any desk, coffee table, or book shelf. ::Coming Soon, in 2021:: 1. Hint: You'll find its thematic roots are set in the lore of the real Islands of Adventure Park in Orlando Florida, but will contain references & locations to represent attractions from all of the Universal Studios Jurassic Park rides & attractions from all over the world. 2.
