This is a Limited Edition of 35. Signed & numbered. Edition #2 My depiction of Mayan Lord Pakal. Beautiful view from any angle. Pakal ascended the throne at age 12 on July 29, 615, & lived to the age of 80. He saw expansion of Palenque's power in the western part of the Maya states, & initiated a building program at his capital that produced some of Maya civilization's finest art & architecture. Each piece is entirely original with copper hair symbolizing corn husks as in the excavated head sculptures of Pacal. It includes hand cut copper & steel, welded, polished, & accents of natural green patinas. This piece is set on a 2" marble base which will vary in color & shape. Please note that each piece is completed upon purchase & will take approximately 2-3 weeks for delivery depending on my work load schedule.
