The Quilt sign is 9.25". The set comes with a backer & two stained wood layers with all pieces cut so you can choose the dimension of your project. Leave some openings empty, or decide if you want one or two layers. Each set comes with three wood layers. Backer color will be white birch but you can choose your wood stain options for layers one & two to achieve your desired look. If you choose white birch for the top two layers, they are ready to paint like the one shown.
