The memory of some days are perfect. The warm sky, the gentle sun. What more can you ask for. I made this quilt to capture that moment in time. Wouldn't it look great over your sofaor maybe you want it above the bed. At 15.5 by 39.5 inches there are so many place it will work. To create it, I sewed many thin strips of cotton fabric going through the cotton batting onto the back. Then I intensely quilted the top to give it even more substance & texture. The binding is hand finished & of course it is signed. Hanging is simple as I have attached thin strips of looped tape to the top & bottom. I provide the customer with the matching hooked tape on thin strips of faux wood. Just attach these slats to your wall & press the quilt in place. I did all the work myself in my studio in Shelburne Falls, MA.
