These are lightweight works of art with a design I created of Crystal Mountain Ski Resort in Washington. The graphic design includes the ski runs & roads of Crystal Mountain. You can also see Mt. Rainier & Mt. St. Helens in the background. For these works, I created a digital design & then printed it using a Glowforge laser printer (it cuts wood). Once the ski run is cut (out of maple plywood), I attach it to a backing piece (walnut). Because these are made from wood, the wood grain varies & each piece is unique. I also attach hanging hardware to the back of the work. The wooden work can be purchased in two different sizes: The medium size is 10.75" x 6.6" x .5" The large size is 17.25" x 10.75" x .5" - I make all of my items in my home in Maine when I am not teaching art to high school students or parenting my own two young sons.
