These beautiful charms were made in Germany in the 1970's, making them 50 years old! The domed charm itself is glass & it's set in a vintage gold plated brass backing. Each charm is about quarter size with a solid gold-filled jump ring to easily put on most chains. Charm comes on one of our beautiful gold-filled paperclip chains in 16 or 18 inches. There is also a story behind these pieces. I live in Los Angeles & more than 20 years ago I helped gather vintage jewelry for the movie ALMOST FAMOUS. After ALMOST FAMOUS, the costume designer put one of my pieces on Téa Leoni in the movie FAMILY MAN. She wore the colored glass zodiac charm that you can find in my listings - the gorgeous Pisces blue one. This necklace garnered so much attention, that after the movie, I partnered with the award-winning costume designer & created the company Betsy & Julie.
