This next item is a exquisite example of Italian Art Glass. This very fine, delicate bird is in amazing condition. I usually don't list items with nicks or flaws, however, when the item strikes me, like this bird, I will make an exception. I can't tell for sure, but it feels like there might be a small, tiny nick at the end of the tail. Used a magnifying glass, bright light & still can't see it for sure, but it feels a little rough, so I'm going with my instinct, so this little gem will be priced accordingly. Measuring: 7" long with that fantastic tail x 1 3/4" wide @ feet x 3" tall. The colors of yellow, orange, white & pink are amazing! This little guy is so delicate, you really have to take a strong look at the feet & the beak Incredible. A very long, ribbed tail, clear yellow in center with edging of pink or mauve. The body is clear with yellow & orange marbling. Clear yellow legs & feet. His head, with his delicate hook beak, & long tail off back of head in orange. Black dots for eyes. I still can't get over the feet Please review the pic's as they are a very important part of the description. There is no mark on this item, however, estate appraiser named it "Italian Art Glass", which leaves you open to many wonderful brands of glass. A beautiful addition to any art glass, Murano Glass collection, even if he has a very minor glitch, very minor indeed.
