This is for a counted cross stitch kit, not a completed mini cushion. This counted cross stitch kit includes: 14ct white aida fabric, ready-sorted DMC Stranded Cotton Threads on a numbered & symboled card sorter, needle, backing fabric, b&w symbol chart & full instructions (filler not included). Design size approx : 5¾" (14.7cm) square. Only whole cross stitch is required (so no fractionals) & a small amount of backstitch. Anne of Cleves was the fourth wife of King Henry VIII & Henry had not met Anne prior to their betrothal. He chose Anne to be his wife from her painted portrait but was disappointed when meeting her in the flesh. Unfortunately for Anne, the wedding between her & Henry would form an alliance with the House of Cleves intended to bring political support & power in Europe that Henry craved, & so had to go ahead. Anne of Cleves was 24 years old when she married 48 year old Henry in January 1540, but their lack of chemistry plus their separation by language, culture & personalities resulted in their marriage being annulled 6 months later.
