This is a 3D miniature replica of the Springer Mountain summit sign at the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia. Our shop is the only, & original shop to offer this plaque! The process: The real plaque was 3D scanned, & then 3D printed. A silicone mold was made of the print & the castings use real bronze powder mixed into the casting resin to allow acid etching for as realistic of a finish as possible. A note on the finishing - You can see a few examples in the photos - the finish does vary from piece to piece as it is a natural acid wash followed by cleanup & sealing. The plaque is available in two sizes currently - the larger plaque (offered in another listing) is 5.75" H x 3.75" W. This smaller plaque is 2.75" H x 1.75" W. The plaque is also available in an unfinished white plastic version, which you can see in the photos as well. I offer 3 backing choices - plain, D ring for hanging, or a magnetic sheet.
