All light filtering fabrics are made from 100% polyester 1" pleats, which is easy to clean with a vacuum attachment or simple dusting. Select the top-down/bottom-up feature to allow light above the shade while still maintaining privacy below. Due to a recommendation from the Consumer Safety Commission, top can only be lowered half the length of the shade when TDBU lift option is chosen.
