Description
Many Match designs are based on original antiques. Some, like our measuring beakers, also have a wonderful story. The beakers come in five sizes, each bearing several tiny embossed symbols. Long ago these beakers were used for measuring things like oil or flour in a shop. Periodically, an official inspector would visit to make sure the shopkeeper wasn't cheating the customers by using beakers with false bottoms. Not uncommon, and very sneaky!
