Kawagoe Ichibangai Located at the tip of the Musashino Plateau, there was a rice market in the rice fields to the east, north, and west.It was an important place for transporting food such as rice and vegetables by boat using the Shingashigawa River, which surrounds the city and continues all the way to Edo, where generations of Fudai feudal lords were stationed here. Many of the festivals and culture of Edo have been brought back and passed down to this day.
